This month’s Employee Spotlight is our very first Marketing Manager, Millie Woodman. Millie has been in the team since August 2018 and is developing our brand strategy and awareness.
Who inspires you?
Ben Francis – the founder of Gymshark. At 19 he started creating his own gym clothes in his bedroom in his parents house because he couldn’t find any brands which had everything that he liked, 6 years later he was ranked #1 in “Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 list of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies”. He’s a real inspiration to me because he followed his dreams and passions, starting from the very bottom building up this global brand.
What’s the most challenging thing you have done?
In 2015 I took part in a 3-day adventure challenge in the Brecon Beacons in Wales which consisted of; running, cycling, hiking and canoeing. Although there may have been a slight bit of blood, lots of sweat and many more tears, our team of 7 finish in 6th place out of 30 teams! We also raised over £2,000 for Action for Children charity. It may have taken my a week or 2 to recover but it was so worth it!

Friendly, fun, youthful
What is your favourite part about working for Clone Media?
Everyday is different.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
Chocolate and the gym… Contradictory but I know.
How do you define success?
Success is believing that you can and to not give up. You may have to jump a few hurdles but the best things in life are never easy and is worth the fight.
