Ratcliffe College | DoorDrop Case Study

Background

Ratcliffe College is an independent, coeducational boarding school just outside of Leicester. They enlisted our help to promote an Early Years Open Event in January, aiming to fill a second class in Reception year. Given our previous successes with DoorDrop campaigns in the education sector, they agreed this would be the favourable route to take.

Solution

We located postcode sectors with high concentrations of their target demographic as the base for this campaign.

  • Children aged 2-5
  • Household income of £75k+
  • Within a 20 mile radius of Ratcliffe College

How we did this

We used our simple scoring metric to rank each applicable postcode sector against each of the target criteria. The results were then fed back to Ratcliffe College who selected the most suitable areas to send to. 

We then managed the Print of the mailer and ensured it arrived through letterboxes within the agreed timescales ahead of the Open Event. Landing with relevant families, at a relevant time.

Results 

The DoorDrop campaign was the only promotion used for the Open Event. As a result, and in comparison to the number of spaces remaining in the class, Ratcliffe College now has twice as many enquiring families as they need.
